some people who saw the film back then probably took it differently than people that would watch it on blu ray and dvd today
“Predator” was a classic Arnold movie with awesome brutality and with tremendously powerful. i think “Conan The Barbarian”, “Commando”, “The Terminator” and “Total Recall” were some of the most brutal films with raw power. Very serious and dark.
i was reading about “Predator” in Arnold’s book “Total Recall” how it was so difficult to shoot in the Mexican jungle with snakes, leeches, spiders, ants and also that the alien predator’s make-up and mask on the actor playing the predator couldn’t see through the outfit and in a fight sequence Arnold got hurt in the face by a slap from the predator due to the claws it he had on. Also in the end sequence Arnold was shivering with mud all over his body and it was pottery-clay that was smeared on Arnold’s body. Also as the shooting went on the winter set in and the climate in the jungle was also becoming cold. So it was real tough for all the guys.
Yes “Predator” was a very violent movie. Also recently “Sabotage”.....
It is a violent movie, but then it’s supposed to be
certainly not for the weak stomachs! LOL!

Yes you are right! Predator was no doubt a very well made movie. Got a little terrified while watching it but was full of suspense and lots of action and thrills!
