The Last Stand
25 January 2013 09:57 AM
Just finished watching it. Not a typical Arnold role by any means, rather a weak storyline only livened up by the presence of the great man himself. I’d rate it 7 out of 10

Well I’ve just seen the Last Stand & was very pleased with the movie & Arnolds performance especially after hearing all the negative remarks about this movie.I’d give it a 9/10 - like Arnold said its a fun action movie.

I went to a cinema here in Miami and, in spite of all the negative critics from the “especialists,” the locale was almost full. We all enjoyed the film, laughed at the many gags and funny scenes and found our now “old man” more into acting than in the past.
The final fight was great and funny at the same time. The scene at the cafe-restaurant, with the two old timers complaining that they needed their breakfast ignoring the warning from Arnold was, in my opinion, the best.
I’ve written a script (I’ve Found a Swachzenegger) and I would like to pass it to Arnold’s agent. Does anybody knows how to contact it?
I know that to try to contact Arnold will be almost impossible.
If anybody has any information, this is my email: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
The script is a comedy of the absurd. I’m proofreading it at this moment.
Thanks.

i am waiting for Arnold’s movie “The Last Stand” to be telecasted on TV. The film was released in Delhi at the January 18, this year and disappeared from the halls very quickly. Though the critics in our newspaper rated it and gave positive reviews but it didn’t connect very much with the crowds. i for one haven’t seen it but i feel it must have been a good film after reading about the movie reviews in the newspaper. i am eager to watch it on TV in my home.

I hesitate to go see him. First character of the cop and his coat close to his cop image Walking Dead series. Deuxio: an action movie for Arnold Schwarzenegger is, perhaps, just an idea of Hollywood. I think the fans can see Arnold as a “master” to thinking of a science fiction film like “SUNSHINE”, or war in general in a war movie as the Battle of LA.

Arnold has acted in a lot of science-fiction films. It is the sci-fi action thrillers that were very big budget like : Terminator, Predator, Running Man, Total Recall, The Sixth Day, which are some of the films that i know have certainly made Arnold a very famous artist.

Yes, perhaps it lacks Mister Universe is a low budget film. But, in fact, “The Last Stand” raises questions about its budget. Is it a big budget film or a small production optimistic? Seriously in Europe, here in France, appeared not me its my clear production. I dream of a new Terminator movie with a real war between machines and humans, as we could see in the Matrix or X-Men comics Chris Claremont- Why Hollywood sometimes is so shy!

Was looking forward to seeing Arnolds latest installment, but with his latest hypocracy between his public support for the California gun control drive, I choose to spend my money on Bruce Willis. Maybe he should think about the people who spend money on his shoot em up movies. The Dixie Chicks are a good example of, better to keep your politics to yourself when your livelyhood depends on people who tend to gravitate to your movie genre.

“The Last Stand” was not able to ring the bells in the box-office but surely there are two more movies in the pipeline starring Arnold Schwarzenegger to be released this year : “The Tomb” with Sylvester Stallone And also ” Ten”. So people’s expectations from Arnold is really high. Let’s see if these two films click or not.

The Last Stand was a great movie, better than I expected. I loved the mix of comedy and action, although I did not know it was going to have such graphic violence, I still would have watched it anyway. It was pretty action packed, kept my interest, got a few chuckles out of me, and I enjoyed the movie. Arnold rarely ever disappoints me.

When “The Last Stand” was released in Delhi (where i live) i saw a lot of advertisements in our newspaper “that i subscribe to. i was waiting for Friday (January 18, 2013) for my newspaper and i got up really early in the morning to read what the newspaper printed about “The Last Stand”. i was really happy to see a lot of advertisements of “The Last Stand”. On Sunday i got to read about the review of the movie in my newspaper and they gave it a high rating and wrote about both Arnold’s brilliant performance as well as a very appreciable viewpoints about the movie being Arnold’s comeback as a leading role to be really awesome. i felt very happy inside for all the appreciations and good things of my hero: Arnold Schwarzenegger. But after the first week the film lost out at the box-office here since the newspaper mentioned only a few cinema halls that were left for showing the film. i haven’t seen the movie because there are no cinema halls near to the locality where i stay and also because there are very few buses ( public transport ) plying in my locality, since i don’t have my own conveyance. Also i feel suffocating and uneasy among crowded places therefore i don’t visit cinema halls. However i will be looking out for the telecast of this film on any channels of TV. i try to watch all the movies of Arnold Schwarzenegger on movie channels of TV since i don’t have a DVD player. But my newspaper which is the only thing that is my most intimate friend, philosopher and guide is the thing that i most rely upon. Also i have my TV which is my source for watching the movies of Arnold Schwarzenegger. i caught the movie “Commando” on TV last week and i was blown away by the incredible performance of Arnold. Oh ! what a film “Commando” was. What a powerful man was Arnold as John Matrix fighting against all odds and obstacles to rescue his daughter Jenny. Arnold is unstoppable and the greatest action-hero of all times with Sylvester Stallone too among my favorite action star. i caught Stallone’s brilliant film : “Cliffhanger” today morning and it was awesome. i haven’t seen the movie “Expendables-2” also which featured Arnold and other great action-stars too and i am waiting for it on TV. Also Stallone and Arnold will come together in “The Tomb” probably to be released this year. It’s going to be a prison-drama movie of what i read about it. Once again in my newspaper ! Both Arnold and Stallone in their so advanced age are still very much active and it’s an inspiration to see them busy with the loads of work that they are engaged in. Both of them are Gods-of -Action-Movies. Both are doing bodybuilding and following rigorous physical fitness regimes. Hats off to these two formidably strong big men.
