Just recently saw Arnold’s criticism on today’s physiques and I have to say, “Good on ya, Arnold!” As you say in the video, the best way to judge a physique is to say, “Which one of those guys would I want to look like?” I have to say, none of them. They look like a troll out of Grimm’s Fairy Tales. They look like they would be living under a bridge in Bavaria and stealing goats. I think things started coming apart as Joe Weider withdrew from active management, absent his esthetic vision forced on bodybuilding it moved from an Apollonian ideal, to a Chthonic. It’s been down hill ever since.

     

ocianain Arnold had the most classic physique of his time. You say he has criticized today’s bodybuilding stars physique. Why, I wanted to know. Could you please expand on that?
