I created a post back in July that has mysteriously disappeared. It referred to the decision to ban SUCTION DREDGING in California. This is nothing short of an attack on an American way of life. Mining was instrumental in clearing the way for California statehood. The only winners in this moratorium are the leftists who consider public lands to be private government property. This is a DIRECT attack on the US Constitution. When I see Forest Rangers PATROLLING with M-16s there is something very wrong going on in our country. The leftist sneaks are piggybacking anti-mining items onto non related legislation and reinterpreting existing laws to find ways around the Constitutional Rights of miners.Arnold, sir. You have made a huge error in judgment by allowing this to begin. The government wants the gold in the ground for itself regardless of what is right and wrong. They can sugar coat it and recruit the help of tree hugging idealists to assist in this endeavor but anyway you slice it…..IT’S WRONG!! Please realize what damage this decision has done and PUBLICLY admit it…..With the stroke of a pen, you have killed a little bit of what helped make California great and not to mention damage done to those of us who wish to preserve what little bit of the REAL Constitution that remains intact.
